BAGN Membership and Free Events:

We invite all members and nonmembers of the community irrespective of age to participate in all socio-cultural events and festivals. We strongly encourage everybody to become a member of BAGN and enjoy membership benefits. We would like to remind you that members of BAGN have the privilege to enjoy three events for FREE: Poila Baishak, Picnic, and Election Day, in addition to the DISCOUNTED admission to all other events. Please note that the BAGN membership (other than life members) is valid and counts for a full financial year (April to March) instead of calendar year. If anyone, for example, paid his/her membership fee in October, 2008 (at the time of Durga puja) that fee covers his/her membership benefits up to March 2009. So, becoming a member at the beginning brings more benefits and allows you to express your opinion to improve BAGN.

Dear Friends,

We, the new Coordinating Committee (CC) of BAGN, would like to thank all members to allow us to serve the community for this year. We are also grateful to the selection committee who nominated us for this job. We also congratulate the members of the last Coordinating Committee for presenting a very fun filled successful year.

The present Coordinating Committee takes the opportunity to address the following topics:

If you would like to become a member and are attending the 'Borsho Baron' event on May 1, we would suggest bringing the attached filled out membership form along with the fee at the venue, else please mail it to the address below with the check payable to 'BAGN':

It has been more than three years now - Bengali Association of Greater Nashville (BAGN), Tennessee, USA is on-line !! We have our own website! It's bagnonline.com

Full address: http://www.bagnonline.com/ and http://bagnonline.com both will work.

As expected, this site is here to perform as a big resource for our community.

Depending on BAGN member's decision, when running in full functionality this site may provide an updated event calender, latest messages/announcements from the coordinating committee, past and present newsletters, financial information, member-only information etc.

This can also be helpfull in providing useful links for several interesting aspects of life like travel, immigration, and many others.
