Hello Friends,

Thanks to Haimanti Basu, our cultural coordinator,  Nandita Bandhyopadhyay, our food coordinator and Ujjal Singha, our Treasurer and all BAGN CC members, volunteers, performers and everyone who pitched in to present a wonderful Barsho Baron Utsav 2011. It was a grand success. Thanks to everyone for their active participation in this event.

We conducted our first joint CC meeting this month for transfer of responsibilities from the previous CC to the current CC and have also decided upon dates for BAGN organized events for the rest of the year.

Please note we are starting a new tradition, of a BAGN sponsored Homeless lunch from this year. Geeta Banerjee has been a part and parcel of this event for India Association of Nashville(IAN) over the past years, so she will help  coordinate this event for BAGN this year, with assistance from current CC members.
